Looking to visit Midcoast Maine? Our hillside historic cabin is available to rent. The cabin is set back in the woods off of US-1 with spectacular views of Penobscot Bay and the surrounding coastal islands. It's a perfect central location to nearby Camden village, beaches, harbors, hiking trails, award-winning Cellardoor Winery, fresh coastal seafood, local restaurants and on the way to Bar Harbor and one of America's most visited national parks, Acadia National Park.
This isn't your typical cabin in the woods. Originally named The Old Massachusetts House, it was built around 1718. First built as a simple farmhouse and located on Route 1 in Northport, Maine. After two moves from its original location, it now sits atop the hillside of our property. Winding steps lead to this newly renovated cabin that exudes charm and warmth. The cabin features beautiful hardwood floors, a cozy modern kitchen, a large walk-in marble shower, a second floor Queen size ship captains bed, original hand-hewn wood ceiling beams and a large front porch with panoramic views. A perfect one-bedroom retreat furnished with your comfort in mind.
